Divisive and Controversial

This is how the media hacks at CNN and MSNBC tried to make sense of Charlie Kirk's murder: Kirk was killed because he was divisive and controversial. One MSNBC pundit said you cannot say awful words and not expect awful actions to take place. Other TV people were a little less direct, but a bunch of them implied Kirk's words led to his murder. This is almost the exact same thing they said after the first assassination attempt against Trump: it was Trump's own fault that someone tried to kill him; if Trump didn't say divisive things, they wouldn't have tried to kill him.

On one side, we have people saying things. On the other side, we have people trying to kill others for what they said. None of the leftists on TV seemed to have noticed they are equating allegedly bad speech with horrible action. It is astounding. And it's not like the Dems are not 'divisive'. They keep calling Trump Hitler, and his supporters Nazis. They call people on the right racist, sexist, xenophobic, Islamophobic, and bigoted. By the media hacks' logic, if someone were to take out a Dem or two, it wouldn't be surprising, right? Actually, even the media people are pretty 'divisive'. They ought to be fair game too.

But it gets worse. Democrat leaders and leftist media personalities are probably the most civilized people on the left. Average Dem voter seems to be a barbaric animal. Countless Dem supporters are openly celebrating Kirk's murder. (A lot of them got reported, and subsequently got fired from their jobs.) It's the same loony tune playing in everyone's head, same distorted logic controlling them. "You said some horrible and hurtful things, so I am allowed to kill you."

Debating these people will not get us anywhere. There's no "coming together" unless and until the other side learns to be more civilized, learns to be more tolerant of dissent. Pain is a good teacher. Inflicting pain (within the bounds of law) will work. Hound these animals out of their jobs. Pursue legal action wherever possible. Take power away from them. Red states should redistrict until they make sure Dems never win the House again. Get the illegals out of the census numbers, and take away the Dems' ill-gotten House seats. Use the power you have to the fullest extent possible. Don't rest until you reduce the other side to virtual rubble.
