I am real and spectacular

I finally bit the bullet and paid the toll to Musk. Twitter goons have been harassing me every now and then by asking me to prove that I am a human. With this $8 credit card payment, I have now put their doubts to rest (for good, I hope). Now they say they are 'reviewing' my account before giving me the blue tick. But I'm confident I will pass the review - Musk didn't get to where he is today by saying no to cash.

Premium is supposed to dull the shadow banning pain. We will see how true that is. Tweeps continue to 'moderate' the heck out of Twitter, doing god knows what behind the scenes. Other than attaching "labels" to perfectly harmless individuals (such as myself), they seem largely helpless against the scamsters and spamsters. For example, there are a large number of accounts claiming to be lottery winners wanting to help poor people pay their bills. This has to be a scam, though I am not sure how it works. It has to be a straight forward thing to detect such accounts, but they seem to live forever.
