What next for Dems?

The Dems have now lost three presidential elections in a row. (2020 was a massive cheat.) They blamed the 2016 loss on "Russian collusion", and on voters being sexist. Mueller probed the Russian collusion matter and came up empty, but the Dems never acknowledged that. The 2024 loss, they are blaming on racist, sexist voters.

This country elected Barack Obama twice. Do the Dems think the country suddenly turned racist? One out of every three voters of color apparently voted for Trump. Calling them racist would be weird. As for sexist, who knows! If people think the country is in trouble, they may choose a man over a woman, all other things being equal. But all other things are not equal in this case. Trump addressed the issues on most people's mind - immigration, economy, safety. Cackler actively hid from the press. She was exceedingly vague the few times she did talk about these issues. She spent almost all her time highlighting her abortion policies, and attacking Trump. There are plenty of reasons for people to pick Trump over Kamala Harris without sexism playing any role. (Lots of women voted for Trump.)

No matter what they may say in public, the Dems probably know why they lost. Immigration and economy are Trump's strengths. If those issues are important to voters, Trump would win. Dems excel in 'abortion access', and Kamabla is a woman of color. So the Dems needed to convince voters that abortion is the most important issue, and that voting for a woman of color showed that you are a good person. To that end, the Dems' media allies tried their best to gaslight the public. Economy is great. You didn't know that, did you? It's only a few apartment complexes that the illegal alien gangs occupied. And no, nobody is eating any cats. Wherever did you get such a silly idea from? Don't you know illegals commit less crime than citizens? Don't you think Trump and Vance are weird? If Trump is elected, he will implement Project 2025, and ban abortion nationwide. Do you want that? Don't you want a black woman president? What is wrong with you?

The gaslighting didn't really work, and there were signs it wasn't working. Kamala tried to course correct to some extent, but that wasn't enough in the end.

So, what now? Will the Dems change their ways? Will they support a border wall now, for example? Or, will they treat this as a failure of their propaganda effort, and try to do a better job of that next time? I think they will choose the latter course, and fail. They don't really have any charismatic leaders, and their media lackeys' credibility is currently in the toilet. Their progressive faction (aka far left nut job collection) is getting bigger and noisier. Pretending to be moderate is getting progressively harder for them with time. Plus, the internet is replacing TV as the playground. With Twitter under Musk's control, propaganda got a lot harder for the Dems. This is why they keep wailing about 'misinformation' so much these days. They see their message is not getting through to the voters.
